🌵 Today, we're kicking off Week of the Young Child (WOYC) in the Grand Canyon State with a proclamation from Governor Katie Hobbs!

This year, WOYC also happens around the time of negotiations for the 2025 state budget. Governor Hobbs requested $100M of state general funds for child care in her FY25 proposed executive budget, which will help Arizona parents maintain access to quality child care and ensure providers are reimbursed at a quality rate to help retain skilled educators in early learning settings. We hope to see these ECE investments cross the finish line in support of our youngest Arizonans!
