USA & PNG cultivate partnerships - PNG, the largest South Pacific Island, has diplomatic relations in 56 countries. US relations were established in 1975, and the two nations belong to such regional organizations as APEC, ASEAN, and the SP Regional Environmental Forum. Visitor Leadership Program: US Patent and Trademark Office & Asia Pacific Secretariat sponsor PNG officials and citizens to learn U.S. business systems.

PNG – Leopards don’t change their spots, but PNG frogs do! Check out this amazing newfound frog species. The Oreophryne ezra was discovered in a tiny, mountaintop cloud forest of Southeastern PNG. The forest has been long avoided by locals, who believe the misty jungle to be taboo, and guarded by spirits. Scientists still do not know why it morphs, it just does!
