I was so grateful to be able to stop by Project MORE and Teenage Parent High School to learn more about our alternative education schools in TUSD. Thank you to Principal Macias-Reyes for the opportunity to discuss these programs.

Project MORE is an alternative high school for students at risk of not graduating on time. This includes students who are behind in credits or for students who need an alternative setting.

Teenage Parent High School supports pregnant and parenting students who are at risk of not completing high school on time. Parents are able to finish school and balance parental responsibilities.

TUSD is so fortunate to have these alternative programs for students.

We had a blast celebrating the end of the year with our annual Project MORE fiesta ! Thank you to our student leaders: Mario, Di, and Tanya for helping to provide and plan the fiesta. And special thanks to Mr. DeSantis and his famous smash burgers 🍔 always a hit !

Our wonderful mobile distribution team will be in Avra Valley tomorrow from 8:00am - 9:30am distributing food. Come see us, and don't forget your photo ID!
