Roskruge Pumas

The 43rd annual Roskruge Cougar Classic gets under way tomorrow. No admission at either site! We'd like to give a big thank you to Cholla and Santa Rita High Schools for hosting week 1.

Over the last week, our Pumas P.E. department has been teaching our middle school kids about adaptive sports. After school on Wednesday, it was the teacher's turn for a lesson. What a fun Professional Development Day for our Roskruge teachers. A big thank you to Danielle Rodriguez and Randall Seiler for hosting this PD.

The Pumas Girls Basketball team fought hard but fell to a deep and talented Dodge Traditional Magnet Middle School girls basketball team last night in the TUSD Championship game. Capri Brim led us with 10 points in the losing effort.
Each of our girls grew and improved as the season went along, and we are so proud of them. The Pumas finished as the Division 1 West Region Champions and the TUSD Runner-Up.
We'll miss our 8th graders and we wish them all the best in the future. Go Pumas!

Our girls are going to the Championship!!! Girls Basketball won a tough game over a physical Utterback team and will now face Dodge in the championship game. Roskruge and Dodge have met in the playoffs every year since 2021 with the series tied 2-2.

2022 - Roskruge defeated Dodge in the Quarterfinals
2023 - Roskruge defeated Dodge in the Championship 🏆
2024 - Dodge defeated Roskruge in the Final 4

Championship game is on Tuesday 12/16 at 5pm at Rincon/University High School.

Roskruge Girl's Basketball are the undefeated TUSD Division 1 - West Champions. Congrats to our girls on an amazing regular season. NOW IT'S PLAYOFF TIME!

Playoff Time Is HERE!! Both our boys' volleyball and girls' basketball team went undefeated in the regular season, and will now take on the rest of the TUSD D-1 schools to try and claim the title of "champion". We will have times and venues for our games posted here, as soon as we get them.

Roskruge competed in the 42nd Roskruge Open Cross Country Meet, Saturday at Palo Verde High School. Big thanks goes to Coach Randy Seiler for putting in so much extra time to coach our elementary school sports.
3rd-grader Theo Waldum finished in 2nd place in the 6th-Grade and under Boys race 🤩. He finished ahead of 69 other runners in the 1-mile race. Look for big things coming from Theo!!

Congrats to our Roskruge athletes who won the TUSD Middle School Co-Ed Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, 11/15/25, at Pueblo High School with victories over Hollinger, Dodge, Doolen and Borman.
