Our next meeting on Monday the 23rd will have a guest presentation by Microvascular Therapeutics (MVT), a pharma startup here in Tucson. Our presenters will introduce themselves, give an overview of the relevant projects at MVT, and answer any questions you have about engineering, research and development, and the startup space! Happy Finals week everybody! Hope you’re all rocking those tests. It’s been busy here at Med Dev as we transition into the New Year. As you can see, we have some newly elected officers (myself included) to usher in the holidays an we can’t wait to start the new year! Happy Holidays!

The Medical Device Club will be having Dr. Phillip Gutruf give a guest lecture TODAY at 6:30PM in ENGR 214.
As a prominent faculty member within the BME department, Dr. Gutruf focuses on creating devices that integrate with biological systems. Within Gutruf Lab, research extends into bio-integrated wireless sensors and soft electronic materials, among other things. He will be speaking about his research as well as about ways for students to get involved in on-campus research. All are become to attend this exciting networking opportunity! Hope to see you there!
