The Department of Homeland Security informed the Tohono O’odham Nation, that it was beginning construction on a border wall that would cut through its reservation. Throughout his career, Chris has been a trusted advocate for law students, overseeing student life, mentoring first-generation students, teaching future legal professionals, and building programs that foster engagement and belonging. His commitment to developing leaders extends well beyond campus through his service in the legal profession and nonprofit community.

A longtime NALSAP leader and recipient of the 2023 Innovation & Impact Award, Chris continues to invest in advancing our profession through collaboration, innovation, and service.
