Hello all,
Next week Tuesday we will have our annual winter concert for band in the Little Theater at 6pm. We hope to see you there!
Selections will include both Christmas songs and our marching show.

A tad bit late, but we had so much fun last week at our homecoming game against Rio Rico. Topped off with a win, we couldn’t have ended it better.
Thank you students for putting in such great effort. A special thanks to band parents for helping us manage smaller tasks. One more thank you especially to our alumni for coming and supporting us and our team. Not pictured here, we had a gentleman by the first name of Chris, class of ‘79, stop by the band room and gave our students some great wisdom from his band director at the time mr Terry Betts.
Again, thank you all for a wonderful season!

Hi Facebook community! It's been a while...
I wanted to take a moment to catch you all up! This year was another big year for the Cholla Charger Marching Band. As some of you might remember, we entered the competition season last year for the first time in nearly a decade. We continued that this year, and beat our records from last year!
This year's Marching Band show was The Music of The Backstreet Boys.
This year's AzMBA (Arizona Marching Band Association) Competitions that we attended and Scores/Placements we received:
Mountain View HS (Tucson) Competition: 50.975/2nd Place out of 6
U of A Band Day: 52.225/10th Place out of 18
Sahuarita HS Competition: 58.250/2nd Place out of 4 & Auxiliary Caption
AzMBA State Championships: 59.340/28th out of 43. This is our highest score points-wise in AzMBA history!
Up next we have our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 15th @ 5:30pm!
Lastly, we are now entering the competition season for the TUSD Santa Cruz Winterguard. This group has students from Cholla & Pueblo :)
