STUDIO MUSIC EVENTS: Performance, Theory

Welcome to our music studio calendar of musical performances, events and activities for all ages.

STUDENT SHARING TIME – September 7 - 12; November 2 - 7; Feb 1 - 6; March 21 - 26

A time scheduled for all students to come together and share, perform, and celebrate while learning technique, theory, musical history and literature. Students are accepted, encouraged, motivated and inspired to participate through activities and performance at the piano and other instruments. Public speaking, self confidence, poise, musicianship, performance skills and how to be a good audience are learned. The time of Student Sharing has become invaluable to our students in preparing them to perform outside our studio in auditions, competitions, jazz band, marching band, orchestras and choir and chorus. This is an informal event for students to collaborate and share with peers and is not intended as a parent performance. Please drop students off and pick them up promptly when sharing time ends.

PARENTS PROGRAM – December 14-19; May 9-14

All students are encouraged to participate and share their gift of music with an audience of parents, family and friends. As this is intended as a formal event, students are required to follow the studio dress code as part of their performance. Special awards are presented at this presentation time.

THEORY / TUTOR / CLASSES – Saturday Afternoons. Please email to schedule a session.

We offer theory / tutor / classes each week on Saturday at $10 per hour. All students are eligible to attend theory / tutor / classes. Students enrolled in Arizona Study Program (ASP) find this theory / tutor / class especially helpful. Please email [email protected] to set up your theory time.

Please let us know if you have any special schedule requests or changes for the Summer & Fall. As well as any vacation dates when you'll be missing your lessons.
