Happy TAPS day 2!! Our gallery is open from 1-5pm today! Come see all of our beautiful artwork, special exhibit, and activities along with solar telescopes from the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association from 2-4pm and a concert from RUBEE from 2-3pm!

Only 2 more days until TAPS weekend!! Did you know we had more than 160 submissions this year? Thats 45 more than last year! Be sure to check out not only our gallery, where we have all our submitted space art and activities for all ages, but our Apollo Era special exhibit with works from Robert Rauschenberg, Robert McCall, and William Hartmann!

Only 3 more days until TAPS weekend!! Our keynote speaker of “Space Through our Lens” on Friday at 6pm is LPL Professor Alfred McEwen. He has worked most notably as the Principal Investigator (PI) of the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment or HiRISE on Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. After 24 years as HiRISE PI, he became PI emeritus last year, but continues to work as a co-investigator. We can’t wait for him to chat with us about space through our lens!
