In the first part of this two-part interview, Ángela talks to Dr. Allain-Philippe Durand, the Dorrance Dean of the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona.

An advocate for entrepreneurship in the humanities and author of "Hip-Hop en Français: An Exploration of Hip-Hop Culture in the Francophone World," among other titles, Dr. Durand is also a professor of French. In this interview, Dr. Durand discusses the significance of the humanities in the professional world.
