Last but certainly not least! Meet our President, Abril, who has worked so very hard to plan this year’s speakers and events! We appreciate her hard work and dedication to the club.👏 Read below to see what she did this summer!

“I went to Thailand this summer with a program called Loop Abroad where we were able to work with an elephant sanctuary and a cat/dog clinic!”

Meet our VP, Jasmin!

“My name is Jasmin Nuñez, I’m a senior in Vet Science and I am the Vice-President of Pre-Vet Club. I love anime, video games, and hanging out with friends. Over the summer, I went to Fan Fusion at the Phoenix Convention Center dressed up as Inosuke from Demon Slayer and I met my favorite characters Joel and Ellie from The Last Of Us.”

Hello! My name is Gennavive and I’m this year’s historian. I run this page and answer DMs. Over the summer, I went to Costa Rica with VIDA to help provide low cost spays and neuters and I loved every second. I’m looking forward to this school year and what Pre Vet Club has planned.

It’s time to meet this year’s secretary! Say hi to Isabel! 👋

“My name is Isabel and I am the secretary of the Pre-Vet club. I am a junior in Pre-veterinary sciences with minors in biochemistry and natural resources. My summer was busy. I worked full time at my animal hospital while taking physics and economics. I did the Vida Trip to Costa Rica, which was great! I really recommend looking into Vida if you can, it is a great experience. Ps I have a cat named Sushi I will talk about way too much.”

Up next! Naomi, our new social chair!

“I'm Naomi and I'm the social chair this year! I'm a senior studying animal science and this summer I worked with the Arizona Canine Cognition Center. I helped with research on the relationship between age and cognition, as well as human-animal interaction. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with everyone this year!”

Next up is our new event coordinator! Everyone meet Ela! She is the one on the left. 😉

”Hi, I'm Ela and I'm the Event Coordinator for Pre-Vet Club this year! I'm a junior studying Veterinary Science and this summer I took classes and worked! So excited for this year with everyone!”

It’s time to meet this year’s officers and learn what they have been up to this past summer! Starting with our newest treasurer, Aaike!

“I’m Aaike and I’m the treasurer for Pre-Vet Club this year! I’m a junior studying animal science and this summer I did the Reid Park Zoo internship! I worked with the rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and many other animals! It was a very rewarding experience :)”

Our first club meeting is next week, September 6, at 6 PM in Marley 230! We will be hearing from Dr. Giles, an exotic animal veterinarian ✨

A special thanks to everybody who made pre vet club so special this year. We are so incredibly proud of all our members and the hard work they have invested in their academic careers this year. Whether you are a graduating senior or just completes your first year of undergrad, we hope your time in pre vet club hold a special place in your heart ❤️
