Recipe for fruit torches:
Fill your 8 flat bottomed ice cream cones about 3/4 full with tropical yogurt. Stick spears of pineapple, cantaloupe, papaya, mango, even some strawberry slivers into the yogurt to look like flames. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 1 1/2 hours. Yum!! 😋

Obsessed with this little art project in our August box. Let your little paint these cotton balls, let them dry, and then pull apart and glue onto your cotton candy mat! It’ll look just like real cotton candy! Can’t wait to see what “flavors” (colors) your little chooses for theirs!

Another one of the math activities included in our August box! Our kiddos got a really strong intro to measurement in our Dinosaur box, and we’re going to continue building that skill in our August box! Best part? Per the usual - I supply everything! So many skills covered in this simple and fun activity! As parents sometimes we look at an activity and think this is so simple but our little’s brains are still developing and learning how to process so much information - including HOW to critically think. 💭 I personally find that brain development so exciting to watch!

BONUS - let your child try their own hand at juggling with the juggling balls included in our August box

Imagine this - your playing and having fun with your little all while you’re building their fine motor skills, number sense, one to one counting correspondence, subitizing and building automaticity in number recognition - all before they step foot in Kindergarten.

You’ll find lots of activities like this in our boxes. This activity is in our August box. Your little will roll a dice, stack that many cups, and then use their dice to try to knock them down! You can also use a bunched up sock, or mini beanbag if you have one nearby!

This little guy has been with Daydreams and Playthings since our very first box back in March - and each month I loooove to see pic updates from him mama of him having so much fun with the activities 🦖🦕🦴 We may have a future paleontologist on our hands!!

Made this little Statue of Liberty with my little yesterday and it was quick and fun and good fine motor practice peeling the stickers off and sticking them onto the globe. 🇺🇸🗽
