The Fite Life

We returned to the states in December of 2011 after living in community at a YWAM base in Scotland. Our main focus upon returning was to spend time with family, find a church body to be part of and to pray and seek what we would do next. We have been blown away by what the Lord is doing and we are pursuing the call to go back to Scotland for a season to work with YWAM Paisley. Our first Official fundraiser is scheduled for the 20th of October. It is a garage sale with some of our household items (things we didn't get rid of the first time round in May 2011) plus hopefully plenty of awesome donated things from people we know! Keep us in your prayers and I will be posting much more frequently here to keep people informed as we go! Thanks.....and Dad I am sure you will see this and be like What the? They are going back? I know that you are as free a spirit as I and this here Facebook is a great way to stay informed for the most part but lets try to message each other so we know what is UP.. I guess you are somewhere out east right now.....

Testament to His Faithfulness.....

We left our almost 2 year old dog with our parents. They would have him until we came back from Scotland. One of our "worries" was that Ardie would "forget" us and that maybe he wouldn't respond to us or sophie when we saw him again and there would be that "getting to know you" stage. Well........He not only responded with tail-wagging-lick-your-face-enthusiasm to ALL of us he totally showed whos boss by doing the string of five or six "tricks" that Sophia had taught him before we left. Tricks that yaya, mamu and poppy couldn't get him to do. (thats why we thought he might forget)

We made it! and all in one piece....

We had a longish layover in Newark and the funniest thing happened there. We were sitting in the foodcourt area killing some time and an announcement came over the loud speaker. It was Maverick who identified the voice as sounding JUST like Amy (robson , from ywam paisley) And we all cracked up because it DID sound just like Amy. So every time that ladies came over the loudspeaker we all giggled and thought of Amy Robson sitting in an airport making announcements. The funniest was when Tom Fite mocked during the real "announcement" using things that related to Stanely House. "The things box can be located by exit 30"....... We miss u guys and love you all so much we are hearing your voices in random places haha.
