Here is the New Teacher Mentor team delivering the donated items to the Badger closet. It makes us happy to be helping students in need from our district.

We wanted to take the time to thank everyone who donated to our October drive. It was a very successful drive that will help the Tucson High Badger closet. We appreciate it!

Last Wednesday’s PLD for first year teachers was Amazing. It was a day filled with learning, networking and collaboration. We want to thank everyone who took part in this PLD.

The NTIP induction last week was Amazing. We hosted this year’s new teachers as well as other new support staff at the beautiful and vibrant University of Arizona campus. They had four full days of training that was thoughtfully put together to increase their success here at Tucson Unified School District. We look forward to a rewarding and phenomenal 2025-2026 school year!

New Teacher PLD at Howenstine was a great success! Our first year teachers had 2 days of professional development that included Classroom Management, learning about FOSS (our adopted Science kits), K-5 Canvas, Lesson planning, Clever and Synergy essentials. The collaboration that took place was stellar! They left excited and energized for the new year.
