It is organized through the University of Arizona's Office of Early Academic Outreach. It has been in existence since 2009.

The Native American Science & Engineering Program (NASEP), at the University of Arizona, is a free year-long program for High School Juniors and Seniors interested in pursing a college degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). The Native American Science & Engineering Program (NASEP) is an 11th-12th grade outreach program designed to increase the number of indigenous leaders entering Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Algebra Academy 05/21/2026

Looking for an exciting and engaging summer program where students learn how algebra is applied to the real world, and launch water bottle rockets? Did I mention the Algebra Academy is FREE! Must be an 8th grader promoting into 9th grade. Please share widely!

Sites include Alta Vista HS, Sunnyside High School(also serving Desert View High School) and a Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) site at Tucson High Magnet School.

Program launches the Wednesday after memorial day at SUSD and TUSD sites, with Alta Vista beginning on June 1.
