The first day of school is here, and we are so excited to welcome all of our students and families back to campus! Whether you're joining us for the very first time or returning for another amazing year, we're looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and success.

⏰ Daily Schedule
• School begins every day at 8:50 AM.
• Students may arrive on campus no earlier than 8:15 AM.

🚌 Dismissal Times (Kindergarten–8th Grade)
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:50 PM
• Wednesday: 2:50 PM

As we begin the school year, please remember that dismissal during the first few days may take a little longer than usual as everyone gets settled into new routines. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we work to ensure every student gets home safely. Before long, we'll be in the groove!

Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at your nearest TUSD Family Resource Center!

We'll help your children get ready for the new school year by providing FREE backpacks and school supplies for TUSD students (while supplies last).

We are incredibly proud to share that Booth-Fickett K-8 was represented at the annual Summer Institute for Culturally Responsive Education (SICRE), an inspiring event hosted by the Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Instruction Department, in partnership with TUSD and the University of Arizona’s Department of Educational Policy Studies and Practice. 🎓✨
Mr. V and Mr. Buus were invited to participate in this amazing learning experience, and we’re excited to celebrate that Mr. V had the honor of presenting to fellow teachers and educators! 🙌 He shared all the GREAT things happening right here at Booth-Fickett, highlighting the incredible work of our students, staff, and community. 💙📚

The kids had a great time learning through science this week when doing this volcano project with Ms. Mathews! 🌋

Peter Piper Night was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Booth Fickett! We hope to see you at the next event!

We are excited to celebrate our amazing 8th grade students during two special events this May! 🎓✨
We will recognize all of their hard work, accomplishments, and this exciting milestone at the 8th Grade Breakfast on Monday, May 18th, followed by 8th Grade Promotion on Tuesday, May 19th. More details coming soon!

May 8th is Field Day for all students! Keep up the great work, and let's finish the school year strong!

City Championships are here. Join us this Thursday, May 7 for an exciting track meet at Palo Verde starting at 3:30 PM. Come support our athletes, show great sportsmanship, and enjoy an afternoon of teamwork, effort, and school spirit.
