Las Posadas is a festive tradition to reenact Mary and Joseph’s search for lodging in Bethlehem, symbolizing community and faith leading up to Christmas. Our South Campus community walked through neighboring streets, sharing the joy of Christ’s birth in song and Bible verse recitations. They then returned to campus where students performed a musical nativity musical pageant. The joy and light of Christ shone bright. Thanks to all who participated in this special event! 🫏

❄️🎄✨Winter break is finally here! Our Grammar Campus students wrapped up the year in style with their festive Christmas attire. Wishing everyone a wonderful and restful winter break. Can’t wait to see you all in the new year!

🥁 6th Grade Teachers? To demonstrate their “mastery” in percussion this semester, band students in Dr. Soflin’s class taught staff members how to play various instruments. The results were comical and even festive, but the mission was accomplished. Great work!

High school students again partnered with Prison Fellowship Angel Tree during this Christmas season. Our students partnered up and selected gifts that had been requested by these children. Over 150 gifts were purchased and wrapped to be delivered with the Gospel and a personal message of love on behalf of their incarcerated parent. Thank you, students & families, for sharing Christ’s love in this tangible way.

On December 12, our Middle School Theater and Introduction to Theater Production presented “An Evening of Fables, Mystery, and Scene Works.”

Congratulations to our talented students on a successful first performance. We can’t wait to see more from these young thespians in the future!

🎤📝 The Speech and Debate team’s Intro Showcase occurred on Monday. Over the past nine weeks, twenty of our ninth and tenth graders prepared either an Informative speech or an Original Oratory (persuasive) speech that they wrote and memorized themselves. These students then delivered their speeches to an audience, with the best performances winning prizes. Congratulations on a job well done, Lions!

🎹🎷 The Upper Campus bands lit up the stage at their Christmas concert on Tuesday night! Thank you to our dedicated band directors for teaching our students to honor God and celebrate the season through beautiful music.

🎶 The Grammar Campus Christmas concert was a success! Our students sang each song beautifully and a group of teachers performed together. The fifth-grade band and choir also delivered fantastic first performances. It was a wonderful evening of celebration, giving glory to God. Thank you to everyone who attended.
