Become a Project SOAR mentor! Enroll in HED 350; fulfills General Education requriements!

Project SOAR is an innovative service-learning program that offers UA undergraduates the opportunity to mentor youth attending middle schools within the Tucson Unified and Sunnyside Unified School Districts while earning academic credit through the Center for the Study of Higher Education. Most students choose to participate in Project SOAR for the full academic year by enrolling in HEd 350 & HEd 397B.

We had the honor of joining COE advisors, Dean Berry, and other UA faculty on the Manzo School Garden tour this morning! Learning about the hands-on, sustainable approach to education the UA School Garden Workshop engages in was so inspiring! Looking forward to partnering in the future 🌱🥬🍋
