Learning to Grow Learning to Grow Childcare is a licensed care/preschool accepting enrollment of children age 1-5. DE My name is Deirdre.

I am the mother of 6 children and 3 grandchildren. I have been working with children in several capacities over the last 20 years. I have worked as a pre-school teacher in both the commercial and in home environment. I have been a therapeutic foster parent for 7 years and have adopted 4 children. For the last several years I have been working for foster care agencies, training foster parents to help prepare them for foster care and then continue their training to support their need for continued education. I have left the foster world and come back to working with the children because that is what makes me the most happy. I have re-opened my preschool "Learning to grow" and I focus on all the learning, social, and adapting needs of the children in my program. I utilize an excellent curriculum that I have found to be the most complete and well rounded. This allows for me to meet the needs of the children without having to spend hours a day on lesson plans. I charge considerably less tuition than most programs because I understand the struggle of young families and I believe all children should have the same opportunities.
