"What level is my kid?" โ€” the question we get most ๐Ÿธ

Here's the full DeMont curriculum breakdown, from Baby & Me all the way to race-ready:

๐Ÿธ Little Froggs (6โ€“36 mo) โ€” Baby & Me! Building water confidence with a parent right there.
๐Ÿข Tadpole โ€” An intro to swimming. Perfect for nervous first-timers. We go slow.
๐ŸŸ Goldfish โ€” Getting comfy underwater. Submersions, kicks, and growing confidence.
๐Ÿชผ Jellyfish โ€” Independent back floats, diving deeper, building real skills.
๐Ÿ™ Octopus โ€” Putting it all together. Freestyle with side breathing.
๐Ÿฆž Lobster โ€” All four strokes. Endurance. This is where it gets serious (and fun).
๐Ÿฆˆ Hammerhead โ€” Race-ready. Technique, stamina, and squad prep.

Not sure where your child fits? DM us their age + what they can do in the water and we'll point you to the right class. No pressure, just honest guidance.

Save this for later ๐Ÿ“Œ

โญ Swimming Stars of the Week โญ

Graduating to Goldfish ๐ŸŸ AND going underwater with his coach?!

These moments are why we do this. Watching a little one go from "I don't wanna" to "WATCH ME" is the best part of our job.

Shoutout to these absolute legends. We're so proud of you! ๐Ÿ’™

Is your swimmer ready to level up? DM us or check the link in bio.

Pool season is here. Before you head out โ€” please read this ๐Ÿ‘‡

These 4 things could save a life this summer:

๐Ÿšง A 4-foot fence isn't enough. AZ law requires 5ft, self-closing, self-latching, no climbable bars. If you've recently moved or have a new pool โ€” check yours today.

๐Ÿ‘€ Designate ONE water watcher. "Everyone is kind of watching" is how kids drown. One adult. No phone. Pass the role out loud.

๐Ÿฆบ Floaties are toys, not safety devices. If your child can't swim independently, use a US Coast Guard-approved life vest around water.

๐Ÿธ It's never too early to start lessons. We take swimmers from 3 months old. Because early comfort in the water matters.

Save this. Share it. It matters more than any post we'll ever make.

Years of training. Two words from a kid. One fully-clothed coach in the deep end. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ’ฆ

"You are" is the single greatest performance review a swim coach can receive โ€” so honestly? Worth it. We'd do it again in a heartbeat (and we probably will). ๐Ÿ’™

Meet Coach Matt. ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ’™

You might not guess it from the way he quietly works the pool deck, but DeMont co-owner Matt Grevers is one of the most decorated swimmers in the world.

Four Olympic gold medals. Four NCAA titles. A 27-time All-American. 35 international medals โ€” and Northwestern University's most decorated Olympian of all time, from a silver in Beijing to a childhood-dream individual gold in London.

But ask Matt about his favorite part of coaching at DeMont, and he won't talk about medals โ€” he'll talk about the kids: helping them build confidence, and the smiles on their faces when it finally clicks.

Matt and Rick go way back: Rick coached him in the water years ago, and that bond is part of DeMont's DNA. Together with Rick and Carrie, Matt is helping carry the proven DeMont model into its next chapter โ€” so even more families can learn to be as comfortable in water as they are on land.

Same mission, from the Olympic podium to the DeMont pool: build confidence, one swimmer at a time. ๐ŸŒŠ

This one meant the world to us.

We teamed up with Arizona Diaper Bank and our DeMont families showed UP. 4,300+ diapers collected. 6,500+ total items donated.

Because being part of a community means more than teaching swim strokes โ€” it means showing up for each other when it matters.

Huge thank you to every family who donated, dropped off, and spread the word. Tucson, you're incredible. ๐Ÿ’›

The best learning happens when kids feel safe, engaged, and excited to be in the water. ๐ŸŒŠ Play isnโ€™t a distraction from learning - play IS learning!

This simple skill goes a long way.

Monkey walking teaches kids how to stay safe, move with control, and find their way to an exitโ€”all without panic.

It may not look flashy, but itโ€™s one of the most important foundations we build in the water.

Because confidence doesnโ€™t start with swimmingโ€ฆ it starts with knowing what to do. ๐Ÿ’™

Today itโ€™s a backfloatโ€ฆ
Then itโ€™s a ribbonโ€ฆ
And before you know it, itโ€™s confidence that lasts a lifetime.

This is why we do what we do. Helping kids become as comfortable in water as they are on land. ๐ŸŒŠ
