QF2: Successes!

Congratulations to a few of our students for placing in the top 5 in a recent regional challenge: designing packaging for a candy called "Baseball Buttons"

The challenge received 32 entries from 7 area schools, and we had 3 of the top 5 from our school:
Nhan, Rayne and Sophia!

Winning Results: Quickfire #1: Team Icon & Text

Nice job to everyone's students who participated in Quickfire #1!

For this challenge, students were asked to create an Icon and Lettering for the Tucson Baseball Team.

We received 44 entries from 9 different schools (Catalina Foothills, Cholla, Combs, Ironwood Ridge, JTED@FW, Queen Creek, Sunnyside, Sabino TUSD Online)

VOTING PROCESS
The ballot form was shared online via email and social media, and now all votes have been tallied as follows: 329 people (305 students, 9 educators, 7 community member, 8 industry professionals).

It's time to vote and choose a winning logo for ADEN's second Quickfire Design Contest of 2026:
Packaging for "Baseball Buttons" Candy
Students were presented with the concept of a candy that would be sold at the Tucson Baseball Team's games, and were given up to 3 hours to complete their designs using software of their choice.

We received 32 total entries from 7 schools
(Cholla, Combs, Ironwood Ridge, JTED@FW, Queen Creek, Sabino, Sunnyside).
