A big congratulations to Valentín Ortega ‘27 who was selected for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino Young Ambassadors Program. The Young Ambassadors Program is a highly competitive national program for rising high school seniors aimed at fostering the next generation of community-conscious leaders in the arts, sciences, and humanities, via the Smithsonian Institution and its resources. Thank you to our entire Middle School for hosting a surprise retirement farewell for Mrs. Parillo today! Middle School students presented her with a book in which they each included a special message; banners with well wishes, flowers, and some beautiful spoken words. Thank you for everything, Mrs. Parillo. We will all miss you!

Congratulations to boys tennis for bringing some hardware back to Tucson! After a hard-fought battle in the state finals, our Hawks took away the second-place state trophy and senior team members Anthi Christoforidis and John Samii presented it in Zeskind Hall. We're proud of you!

Ten canyon pong winners from the 2025-26 school year competed for the title of champion canyon ponger on Friday. Taha won, and Ivan was runner-up.

The 2026 Entrepreneurial Institute is a wrap! Judges, guests, students and faculty were treated to five innovative concepts pitched with polish and professionalism. A special congratulations to Catalyst, who won the competition and $1,200 in start-up money, and to Bag Nest, who won the People's Choice award and $300 in start-up money. Thank you to our judges and guests for supporting the work of all of these amazing students.
