A well-deserved honor for our very own Megan Cassidy. Congratulations! Thank you for all you provide for our students, both in the classroom and in our Penguin community!

Megan Cassidy, a social studies teacher at University High School, has been named the September 2026 EconHero, a monthly recognition Econiful gives to an outstanding economics educator. Megan was nominated by a colleague for her work helping students connect economic concepts to their everyday lives, and for supporting student participation in competitions like The Stock Market Game and the Economics Challenge.
