To prepare for the first day of school as an Erickson Roadrunner!_
Thursday, August 6,2026 - doors open at 7:30am
- Backpack- full size, big enough for folders, full size notebook, and lunchbox (if desired)**Please let the office know if your child is in need of a backpack**
- 2 pencils
- Water bottle with your child’s name on it – not required but highly encouraged
- We have four water refilling stations around the school
- WATER ONLY permitted in water bottles
- Please make sure water bottles are plastic or metal, NO GLASS
**NO cups with straws, even if it has a secure lid
Please ensure your child’s water bottle is spill/leak proof**
- Make sure your child knows how they are getting home from school
- Cell phones: must be silenced and put away once on campus and not accessed again until dismissed from the classroom at the end of the school day

🚨New Food Regulations for 26/27 School Year.🚨

As we start the 2026–2027 school year, we want to share an important update about food brought to school. Arizona schools must follow the new Arizona Healthy Schools Act (A.R.S. 15-242.01) and TUSD Nutrition Standards to help keep our students healthy.

If you plan to send food for birthdays, classroom celebrations, or snacks, please review the approved snack list below to make sure items meet the new guidelines.

Join us on Wednesday, July 29th, 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Tucson Mall for our Back-to-School event in partnership with ! We will be giving out free haircuts and school supplies as our way of making sure your little ones are prepared and looking their best for the upcoming school year!

*No purchase necessary. Free haircuts are available for youth ages 17 and under only. Ten haircut prizes will be awarded each hour at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. via the Spin-to-Win prize wheel, while supplies last. Haircuts provided by participating stylists from Headliners Barbershop and JC Penney Salon. Prize availability subject to stylist capacity.

Erickson Families- please be aware of the New Arizona Law on Candy & Snacks for this school year. More information will be coming as we get closer to August 6.
