Sahuaro High School Class of '73

Sahuaro High School Class of '73 Dedicated to share info between classmates of the great Sahuaro High School Class of '73! And a few other Cougars too!!

'73 Cougars,

Beginning with our 10th in 1983, we've had several "formal" reunions that were well attended & great fun. But waiting 5 or 10 years between our get-togethers just didn't make sense to me, especially since we were starting to lose some of our classmates, so I decided to make our get-togethers happen every year. My objectives were:
1) Keep it simple so it didn't require a large committee to make it happen.
2) Keep it inexpensive with no tickets or cover charges so everyone could attend & not have to worry about the cost.
3) Have it at a place everyone would know & be comfortable at. The test of this idea was the evening before our fantastic 40th reunion at Bob Fee's ranch at Tucson Country Club Estates. I arranged a no cover no ticket cash bar at Nimbus on Tanque Verde & everyone seemed to have a great time & I didn't hear a single negative comment about the evening. Unfortunately Nimbus closed when I started working on another get-together, so I had to search for another location that understood our needs. Our first "Reunion Lite" was a few years later at McGraw's Cantina in 2015. The great people @ McGraw's gave us our own room, our own bar tender & waiter service for anyone wanting to enjoy their delicious food. Attendance has been good, people have had a great time & we've opened it up to grads from other classes since we were all a big happy family at the new Sahuaro High School. My commitment to you my wonderful SHS '73 classmates is to keep making these happen all the way from up here in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia. In addition to making them happen I'll try to attend as many as I can to play host & take pictures for everyone to enjoy.
