It’s Monday and who says it has to be a bad day! Be positive, productive and get s**t done. Start the week off the right way with some self love, respect and being kind to others.

We all exercise as a part of taking care of ourselves. Yet everyday in the gym I see numerous individuals consume sport drinks that are loaded with sugar, food colorings, flavor additive and non nutritive calories. Good quality water or a filtered water with a tiny pinch of Iodized sea salt is all you need and you will do amazing!
Unless you are an endurance athlete in which you are exercising more than 90min you should have plenty of stored fuel to get you through the workout.
If you take half of your body weight and convert to ounces that will give you an estimate of how much you need in a day. 16-24 ounces per hour of exercise depending if you perspire a lot. Just because you urinate a lot does not mean you are hydrated. If it is a filtered water your body will not assimilate it because the lack of electrolytes and minerals. This can deplete you of your own electrolytes and minerals setting you up for failure.

Make sure today you have had some quality me time.
Just a few to implement are:
Breath-work, Meditation, Corrective Exercise, Strength training, Cardiovascular work, Mobility and Myofacial self release, Stretching, Yoga, Reading, Gardening, Coloring, etc, etc, etc........
Pay attention through the day to Dr Diet,
Dr Movement, Dr Quiet and Dr Happiness. Keeping them happy should be a top priority for optimal wellness.

I was greeted this morning into work by this amazing hawk. My father was an avid bird watcher and this was his favorite.
