The college is offering FREE refresher courses for students that would like to improve their math and/or reading and writing skills during the summer.
These courses will be non-credit and do not impact your GPA. They are designed to support students that may be testing into a specific program or needing extra time and assistance with brushing up on specific skills.
Math Refresher Course for either intermediate or advanced levels - offered in a virtual format.
Reading and Writing Course - self-paced in a fully online format.

Need a job that fits around your class schedule? Want to get paid to build leadership skills & help Pima students and clubs? Become a Student Life Peer mentor for one of our (5) Student Life Centers! This hourly job pays $13 for 19.5 hours/week. Work begins in July to prepare for the upcoming events and school year. Student Life Center operating hours are M-Th 9am-4pm, work hours vary based on events and programs.

Students interested in working with compassionate care in the hospice setting can apply to volunteer at Traditions Health.
Volunteer opportunities include: Paperwork and filing, Mailing cards, Making phone calls, Sitting and visiting with patient, Spending time with patient while caregiver is away, Cooking dinner, Yard work, and Helping with social activities at nursing homes/assisted living facilities.

Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, & Two-Spirit Individuals (MMIWG&2S) Symposium & Memorial will be held on May 10th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Downtown Campus Amethyst Room (1255 N Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85709).
Guest speakers include: David Garcia, Dr. Dolores Durán-Cerda, Cassandra Perez, & Dr. Tiffany Marie Sorrell.
The event is dedicated to all the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, & Two-Spirit Individuals.
