Tucson Community School Our mission is to provide a creative learning experience by emphasizing play, both indoor & out!

The school maintains a consistent, child-centered program with developmentally-appropriate practices. The focus is learning through play both indoors and outdoors with an approach that promotes a positive self-concept. TCS strives to be a safe place where children can learn to be creative independent, problem-solving individuals. Its goal is to lay the foundation for the inner strength and resilience necessary for each child to meet the demands of his or her world.

Calling all creatives! It’s time for one of our favorite TCS traditions 👕 TCS families are invited to enter our T-shirt Design Contest. Share your creativity and show us your original designs - AI submissions will not be considered.

Send designs to [email protected] or drop them off at the front office by Friday, September 18. The TCS Board of Directors will select this year’s design. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

📸 Picture Day is coming to TCS on September 16 & 17! TCS Parent and photographer Justin Haugen, Justin Haugen will be providing his services to us again this year to capture our sweet kiddos. 📅 Mark your calendars: Wednesday, September 16th for Toddlers and MAP A & Thursday, September 17th for Young Preschool and MAP B. If your child does not attend on their scheduled class day, they can either go with the other classes on the day they attend or you can bring them by in the morning. A link to order photos will be sent out after pictures are taken.

Introducing Muffin Mornings ☀️ Muffin Mornings will be hosted on the first Friday of every month at drop-off in the front office.

Whether you’d like to connect with other parents, ask questions, check in with our director, or simply enjoy a few quiet moments before your day begins, we’d love to see you there. The first Muffin Morning will be Friday, August 7.

Tiny hands, big teamwork 🧽🚗 Our toddler class has been hard at work practicing their car washing skills and getting ready for our annual car wash! This is our final fundraiser of the year and an extra fun one, because every dollar raised goes toward a school-wide pizza party!! 🍕💦✨
