Introducing the Potoff Private Philanthropy Center for Technological Innovation, opening for the 2027-28 school year at JTED @ The Bridges! This new building will allow more space for Welding, Construction, and Robotics programs and allow more students to gain career and technical training! Plus, to learn more about what the future holds for JTED as we head into the new school year, watch Monday morning.

This summer, four JTED interns took on the task of planning drone flights with Their experience could help take the industry to new heights!

Kaileen, a Heavy Equipment Operations student, stepped outside of her comfort zone this summer to complete an internship with Kappcon.

For the first time, Class of 2026 Licensed Nursing Assistant students got the chance to earn their caregiver certification through our summer program. This gives them additional skills and qualifications as they head into the workforce and higher education.

Each year, CTE instructors from all across Southern Arizona take part in the Pima JTED Foundation Mining Institute. This allows them to better understand the industry and the many types of opportunities that lie ahead for their students. The Mining Institute, developed in partnership with the Arizona Mining Association, allowed
participants to tour South 32, CalPortland, and the UA San Xavier Underground Mining
Laboratory.
