Our Business students got to experience a guest speaker who visited their class to discuss the process of forming an LLC.

Many students were especially interested in learning about the financial side of the business and asked several questions!

After that, students were put into a groups to develop a quick pitch to see who scored the highest. All groups were able to select the criteria the wanted for the pitch they were creating. All four groups presenting did really well and impressed the guest judge! 🌟

Our Veterinary Assistant students took a field trip to the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale!

Students were able to observe a variety of marine animals in their enclosures, speculate on what care is required for different species, learn from different animal care specialists, and even "get a feel" for some of the animals. 🦑🪼🦈🐟🦀

We would like to recognize Lisa Best, RN, for her outstanding contributions to the MP LNA evening program this year. Lisa is a phenomenal educator who consistently demonstrates dedication to both her students and her colleagues.

She has worked diligently to streamline the curriculum, ensuring it is both effective and accessible, while also designing engaging, interactive learning activities that enhance student understanding. Her integration of real-world patient scenarios has significantly strengthened the program, helping students build critical thinking skills and better prepare for clinical practice.

In addition to her work in the classroom, Lisa has played a key role in mentoring new LNA staff, supporting them in developing a strong understanding of the program and fostering consistency across instruction. Her willingness to collaborate, share expertise, and support her team reflects true leadership.

Lisa is both a leader and a team player, and her commitment to excellence has had a meaningful impact on the nursing program. Her dedication this year is deeply appreciated.
