This week, our Governing Board recognized students who took part in our summer internship program, our industry partners who hosted them, guest speakers, salary sponsors, and the Pima JTED Foundation! Our internship program continues to grow and give more students the opportunity to experience a real-life work environment and great networking with our industry partners.

The board also recognized our Air Transportation instructor, Major Sal Fiorella, whose program received the highest scores in last spring's technical skills assessment for any Air Transportation program in the state of Arizona!

Our daytime Robotics students at Innovation Tech High School got a visit from Spot the Robot Dog from Boston Dynamics Some of them even got to work the controls or get a fist bump!

He was impressed how we’re expanding with a modern facility to serve a growing number of students seeking our industrial trades programs, and how our programs match the needs of local industries.
