Our Super Friends Pre-K class brought the force to Catalina today! 💫 From brave heroes to galactic explorers, these little learners had an out-of-this-world time using their imaginations, teamwork, and LOTS of energy (we felt the force for sure! 😉).

Celebrating the Week of the Young Child at Catalina!
What a joyful and activity-filled week we had celebrating our amazing children, families, and teachers!
Music Monday - Our Pre-K friends were treated to a special visit from a parent volunteer who sang and played guitar—such a fun and meaningful experience! Our 3’s got creative making their own shakers, and another classroom enjoyed a lively dance party.
Tasty Tuesday - Little chefs were busy in the classrooms! Children made fruit salad, yogurt parfaits, and even explored new flavors with a tasting of jellies and jams—so much learning through food!
Work Together Wednesday - Teamwork was on full display! One Pre-K class worked together to build an incredible castle, while our 2’s and 3’s collaborated and created with blocks.
Artsy Thursday - Creativity took over with lots of colorful chalk art fun outside—our playground became a masterpiece!
Family Friday - We wrapped up the week with a beautiful Family Teddy Bear Picnic on the Pine Tree Patio on Thursday. Families joined us for brunch snacks, connection, and community. The celebration ended with a sweet teddy bear parade led by our Pre-K students—such a special moment!

Read Across America – Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration
Ms. Tammie’s Pre-K classroom is celebrating Dr. Seuss Birthday today. The children had a day reading Dr. Seuss books and creating their own “Thing” necklaces. These activities help foster imagination, language development, and a lifelong love of reading.
