Girl's Volleyball Open Gym begins next week, tryouts begin August 10th!

Students from Andrada High School were recognized at Tuesday's Governing Board meeting for putting their Career and Technical Education (CTE) skills to work on a project that will benefit the entire Vail community.

Under the guidance of Digital Photography, Yearbook, and Video Production teacher Rebecca Warren, senior Gavyn Locke and sophomore Jeremy Heston created a promotional video for Vail Pride Day to help showcase the event to potential sponsors. The project provided valuable real-world experience while supporting one of the district's signature community events.

The students were also recognized for their success in SkillsUSA. Gavyn is a two-time regional silver medalist in news broadcasting, and this year he teamed up with Jeremy to earn another silver medal in the 2026 regional competition.

Congratulations to these talented students for representing Andrada and demonstrating the power of Vail CTE through meaningful, real-world work.
