Teachers are back at Doolen for professional development and gearing up for an amazing school year! 🎉
We kicked things off with a fun icebreaker, where staff broke into their focus-area teams to create team résumés before learning alongside our administrative team. It's a great way to build connections, celebrate our strengths, and prepare for the year ahead.
Our team is committed to making our school even better this year, and we can't wait to see all that our students will accomplish!

Tip for Parents: Stay Hydrated! Make sure your child brings a water bottle to school every day. We have water stations at every school to keep our students refreshed and ready to learn.

We're so grateful to our friends at Safeway Foundation for once again investing in Tucson Unified students and schools!

It was an honor to attend the ribbon cutting celebration for the beautifully renovated Safeway store at Swan & Sunrise and celebrate their continued commitment to public education and other nonprofits!

Through their generosity, the following TUSD schools each received a $2,000 grant to support students and classrooms:
