Believing that love and peace live within each of us, Tacheria Interfaith Spirituality Center is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and companionship so that individuals and communities may awaken to their inner wisdom and serve as living examples of compassion and understanding in the world.

🌿At Tacheria, we offer sacred spaces for deep listening and presence through spiritual direction and companionship, walking alongside individuals as they explore the sacred woven through everyday life.

🌿 We nurture the spiritual growth of individuals from all walks of life, fostering personal transformation, deep reflection, and a more grounded connection to the Divine within and around them.

🌿Through our programs, we guide and equip emerging spiritual directors with the wisdom, compassion, and practical skills needed to accompany others on their spiritual journeys with integrity and deep care.

🌿Tacheria is a welcoming community rooted in interfaith respect, offering retreats, classes, and workshops that invite exploration, learning, and a deep sense of belonging across traditions.

Tacheria has taught me the power of community. A safe and brave space where we can be fully ourselves, share our stories, question what we’ve always believed, and grow in ways we didn’t expect. The friendships, the trust, the openness — it all creates a circle that feels like home.

🌿 Meet Anndrea Terry, MA — Chair of the Board of Directors 🌿

We’re honored to introduce Anndrea Terry, whose work brings together therapy, contemplative practice, and nature‑based wisdom in a way that deeply enriches our community. Anndrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in wellness counseling, yoga, meditation, breathwork, and ecotherapy—blending clinical skill with embodied, soulful care.

Her professional life has included crisis work, private practice, and leading wellbeing retreats in both Northern Michigan and Arizona. Across every role, her commitment to accessible, inclusive support shines through.

Anndrea’s studies center on spiritual direction, eco‑spirituality, and myth‑informed guidance. She weaves contemplative practices with the rhythms of the natural world, helping individuals and communities cultivate resilience, meaning, and connection. Her work invites us to remember rest, growth, and balance as sacred ways of being.

Originally from Michigan and now rooted in Arizona since 2016, Anndrea is a 2026 graduate of Tacheria and brings creativity, clarity, and heart to her role as Chair of the Board.

🌿 Meet Ken Vorndran, Ph.D. — Co‑Chair of the Board 🌿

We’re honored to introduce Ken Vorndran, whose forty‑year career in education has shaped generations of students and leaders. Ken taught in high schools, community colleges, and universities before retiring from Pima Community College, where he spent fifteen years coordinating the Honors Program and teaching honors research and writing.

His leadership extended statewide and regionally through the Arizona State Honors Council, the Western Regional Honors Council, and the Arizona English Articulation Taskforce. A writer at heart, Ken’s essays, stories, and poems have appeared in newspapers and literary magazines, reflecting his lifelong love of language and learning.

Ken earned his BA from the University of Delaware and his MA and Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. In 2021, he graduated from Tacheria, bringing his deep commitment to wisdom, community, and contemplative practice into our circles.

Today, Ken serves as Co‑Chair of the Board, offering steady leadership, thoughtful insight, and a heartfelt dedication to Tacheria’s mission.

🌿 Honoring Board Member Rev. Frank R. Williams 🌿

We’re grateful to introduce Rev. Frank Williams, whose life’s work has woven together compassionate leadership, spiritual grounding, and decades of service to the Tucson community.

Frank retired in 2017 as Social Services Director at Casa de la Luz Hospice, following earlier roles as Executive Director of Family Counseling Agency (now Our Family Services) and twenty years on the Family Studies faculty at the University of Arizona. His commitment to supporting individuals and families has shaped countless lives.

As a United Methodist minister, Frank served congregations in California and Arizona and became the founding pastor of St. Francis in the Foothills UMC, a community still rooted in his vision of openness and spiritual depth.

Frank and his wife, Linda, served together as Co‑Directors of Tacheria for 20 years, guiding students with wisdom, humor, and a deep reverence for the sacred in everyday life. His leadership as former Chair of the Board continues to influence Tacheria’s mission and heart.

We celebrate Frank’s enduring presence, his steady guidance, and the generous spirit he brings to our board and our community.
