Secular Student Alliance at The University of Arizona, Open Page The SSA at the University of Arizona is the only officially recognized club on campus for nonreligious students.

The Secular Student Alliance at The University of Arizona aims to build a safe and welcoming community for atheist, questioning, and nonreligious students at the U of Arizona. We meet once a week for speakers, presentations, and discussions while also getting together for other fun, social events like hiking, movie nights, potlucks, and more! While there are over 40 religious groups at the Univers

ity of Arizona, we are the only organization that provides a community for those who aren't religious. While many atheists and nonbelievers may feel alone in their viewpoints prior to college, the University of Arizona offers nonreligious students an opportunity to build awesome friendships with other nontheists and talk about subjects that are usually off-limits. The SSA at UofA is constantly growing, bringing atheists and nonbelievers together from every corner of campus!

As far as I know, there us no active SSA club at the U of Arizona. If anyone is interested in starting it up, I may be able to help. I no longer have an official connection to the UA, as I am retired.
