Burrows Cave

Despite the rumors, Russell Burrows is still alive. Got to visit him on Friday. Long live the infantryman who uncovered thousands of ancient artifacts many of which tell stories in Hebrew.

I was listening to the Stick of Joseph podcast today where they were recapping the Gold Book story. Fraud or Authentic? I very much appreciate the open mindedness of this group and how they analyze things. But I was thrown for a loop on one of the things said. Basically, the Star of David is a modern symbol of Judaism. It is not ancient. This made me feel a bit uneasy as the Burrows Stones have the symbol in abundance. So is that proof that they are fraudulent. On the contrary, no.

"On the other hand, the renowned Kabbalah scholar Gershom Scholem claimed that the Star of David does not originate in any way in Judaism. Though he noted the symbol was identified on a Jewish seal from the seventh century BCE found in Sidon, as well as in 3rd–4th century CE synagogue decorations, the star was found alongside other symbols that were known to not be of Jewish origin."

What about the Kippa Yamacha? Is it anciently Jewish? Is it anciently of Tyre, or Sidon, or Carthage?

Here is another artifact from the John White collection. These boats were likely used for navigating the rivers of America.

Egyptian Elephant - כמפ
[Imagine growth?] - דמג

First line:
Kaph Mem is Kemet or Egypt.
Pey is the first letter of Elephant

Second line is tricker as the words are not complete so there is more guessing on this line.

Just one of several dictionary options is דמה which means to liken, compare, imagine.

Last letter is a gimel which could be one of numerous words. My guess is the word for "growth".

This artifact translates almost completely by just Google Translate alone. Fascinating, the transliteration key is working.
