The College of Science Steward Observatory Mount Lemmon SkyCenter is excited to announce the date for our 2024 Stars Over Sabino event on March 15-16.
The Mount Lemmon SkyCenter and the Santa Catalina Ranger District, Coronado National Forest, have developed a strong partnership since 2022. It is with great pride that we will be hosting our 3rd annual Stars Over Sabino community event together in the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area.
With solar-viewing by day, informative guest speaker-led scientific talks, and more than 15 telescopes at night helmed by the most knowledgeable astronomers we can wrangle up, Stars Over Sabino has become the preeminent event to kick off Springtime in the Sonoran desert!

Have you been missing our world-famous SkyNight Stargazing program as much as we have during the Monsoon Shutdown?
Tickets are now available and on sale from September 16 through December 31, 2023 (link in bio or at skycenter.arizona.edu)

Come see the night-sky from the summit of Mount Lemmon, accessible only by purchasing a ticket to the SkyCenter.
Dinner is included, as well as a spectacular sunset demonstration and dark-sky views of current constellations. You will also have the ability to see galaxies, nebulae, planets, and star clusters, through one or both of our world-class telescope; the 32” Schulman or the recently updated 24” Phillips. All led by our amazingly knowledgeable presenters.

Purchase tickets now because certain dates do get booked fast.
