UPCOMING ONLINE CLASSES

This is Ron Harrison and I wanted to let you know that we still have spots available in both of our upcoming Online OFI Class and Advanced OFI Class. These classes will be exactly the same as our live classes. You will receive the same manual and 3 months free for our weekly webinars. The only difference is you will not have to travel and you can learn from the comfort of your home.

These classes will be held over 3 consecutive Weekends. The OFI classes will be held on Saturdays and the Advanced OFI classes will be held on Fridays. The schedule is as follows:

OFI class will be held April 28th, May 5th and May 12th. From 9:00 to 5:00 PM PST
Advanced OFI class will be held April 27th, May 4th and May 11th. From 9:00 to 5:00 PST

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
Tonight Mark made a very interesting observation on the RUT. As you can see from the chart below the RUT has been falling at a faster pace than the other markets and Mark wanted to know if that might be telling us something. The answer was yes, in order for us to have a true rally we will need all the markets to rise together. The RUT which is the largest of the index's company wise has 5000 companies. So if it is falling it would make sense that others might follow or it would need to start rising. So I would say that based on how the other markets have been doing of late this might be yet another sign that something is brewing.......

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom: Tonight was another review of our Leap Covered Call trades. We once again went over how to construct them so as to give you the best chance of success. And so far we have had a perfect record. Other than that we talked about how the market chart is looking very heavy as if it wants to give way to the down side. So be careful!!

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
Tonight I pointed out that for the last 9 trading days we have not had a real up day of trading. On any of the days that the news printed a gain for the day whatever gain we had was due to the gap up at the open. After that on each of those days we traded down into the close. Don't know for sure what it means but it's something worth taking notice of.

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
This week we reviewed last weeks Covered Call trade. And as it turned out it did so well last week that we were able to close it out for a very nice profit by the end of the week. We realized a 16.17% return per contract on the trade. Very nice for just one week. Now lets see how we do on this weeks trade.......

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
Tonight's webinar once again covered our newest trade the "Leap/Covered Call" and we witnessed how perfectly it's working so far. With the VIX still at its lowest levels there is still not enough premium to sell options so we needed to find something else to profit with. So far we have two different trades on NVDA and MSFT and for the first week so far we are up .07% and .06% respectively. This is on the funds we had to expend to place the trade. Not bad for a trade in a 9+ VIX world!!

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
Tonight the entire discussion was on our most current trade which is a "Leap-Covered Call" trade. Of course I cannot go into how this trade works here. That will be best left to a future class. So keep a lookout for one of our upcoming classes where we will cover not only this trade but several other individual stock trades.
The other point I made tonight was that currently with the VIX so low there is just not enough premium in selling SPX options to make the risk/reward worth doing. That is why I decided to look elsewhere to find more profitable trades.

Advanced OFI Webinar Wisdom:
The big news for todays webinar was the 2% drop in the market today. This drop was due to a combination of factors that hit the news today. Fed speakers talking down the market saying that the market was running on fumes. Crude giving up gains after the API report showed a build instead of a drawdown. The Senate delaying the vote on the health care bill till after the 4th recess. Now lets see if the selloff can find some legs!
