Welcome back to school, Walker Wolves! 🐺
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5th, is the first day of school. We will open the gates for parent drop off at 7:10 AM and there will be photo props available to take first day of school photos. 📸
Our school day will begin promptly at 7:25 AM. 📚✏️ Parents are invited to join Ms. Reynolds for Pastries with the Principal at that time. 🍩
Wednesday is early release with dismissal at 12:25 PM. Please be patient if you plan to pick up your child because the first day is the busiest day of the year! 🚗🛻🚙
We can't wait to see you!
Yesterday our Kindergartners graduated and are officially 1st graders! 🎉
Our Walker Wolves have been working hard all year and we couldn’t be prouder of how much they’ve grown! 🐺
Before our students in grades 2-5 took their end of the year reading and math MAP benchmark assessments, Ms. Reynolds promised to let the students who grew the most from each class pie her! 😃 With their eyes on that prize, our students took their time, did their best, and blew us away with their growth! 🎉
Today was Pie Day and Ms. Reynolds stayed true to her promise— over 20 students got to pie her! 😯
We are so lucky to have Ms. Lopez on our campus!! Thank you for putting our students and families FIRST!!

Reminder: Tomorrow is Field Day! ☀️
Please send your student in their ready to get wet clothes, with sunscreen already applied. Don't forget to bring a water bottle, a towel, and a set of dry clothes.
There will be inflatable with water, field activities, Lego building, and chalk. Plus, everyone gets an Otter Pop! 😋
Yesterday we were joined by the E.C. Nash Elementary School Roadrunners, Donaldson Elementary School Dolphins, and Rio Vista Elementary School Bulldogs who will be Walker Wolves next year! Our new students got a tour of the school, had lunch with all the other kids in their grade level, and had double the recess fun! 😎
It was wonderful to see so many smiling face and new friends being made. We are going to have an ✨amazing✨ year together next school year!

Don’t miss the annual Buy 1, Get 1 Free Book Fair from May 11th - 15th! 📚 The bookfair will be open from 7:15 - 3pm. Come by and stock up on books for the summer!

At our last assembly of the school year, we recognized our amazing PTO for all that they do for our students, staff, and community. Walker wouldn’t be the same without the support and dedication of our PTO. 🩷
