Our Yoeme Youth Council is thrilled to invite you to our vibrant Cultural Resource Fair this Saturday! Join us at the Pascua Yaqui Tribal Annex Microcampus, located at 7400 S. Settler Ave., Tucson, AZ 85746, from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Immerse yourself in our rich cultural heritage as you listen to captivating traditional stories shared by our community members. Get hands-on and learn the art of creating our traditional Sewam, an important cultural craft that reflects our history and identity. Participate in an engaging Hiak Nooki workshop where you'll discover the significance of this traditional practice, and don’t miss the chance to savor our delicious Hiak Bwa’ame, a cherished staple of our cuisine.

We’re thrilled to share that Ili Uusim Mahtawa'apo has moved to a new home at 7400 S. Settler Ave, Tucson, AZ 85746, which was formerly Hohokam Middle School! Mark your calendars—our first day of school is just around the corner on August 7th, starting promptly at 8 AM, and we can’t wait to welcome all of you back! To make drop-off easy, please plan to arrive by 7:45 AM. Just take the first left and follow the designated loop for a smooth start to the day. Together, let’s nurture the sparks that ignite the flames of knowledge!

We’re also excited to let you know that we’re accepting applications for student enrollment. If you’d like to join us on this wonderful academic journey, please remember to bring these important documents:

- **Birth Certificate:** To help us verify your child's date of birth.
- **Tribal Enrollment:** If applicable, please provide documentation confirming your child's tribal enrollment.
- **Public Assistance Documents:** If you receive assistance, such as SNAP, TANF, or WIC, feel free to bring any relevant documents.
- **Legal Documents:** If your child is in foster care or if there are custody arrangements, please bring the related paperwork.
- **IEP or IFSP:** If your child has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), we'd love to have that information too!
