Cylinder heads sit on top of the engine block and house the camshafts, fuel injectors, and valves. Our students are able to get a close look at the inner workings of a semi-truck so that they can better understand how all these parts come together to make a truck work.

"I want to thank HDS for all they have done for me, with my CDL I have made a lot of changes in my life. I no longer have to look for the high paying jobs because with your CDL, they will come to you, but you have to put in the work and have to be willing to make changes. At the end of the day, the pay will make your life a lot better. Don’t give up on your dreams. I never had to travel over-the-road, I just moved and went into driving dump trucks and water trucks.
