Today was the first day of KidCo for those who registered. KidCo runs from 7:30am until 6pm. School officially begins on August 6th. We wish everyone a happy and safe summer break!

Hoy fue el primer día de KidCo para quienes se inscribieron. KidCo es desde las 7:30 a. m. hasta las 6:00 p. m. Las clases regulares comienzan el 6 de agosto. ¡Les deseamos a todos unas felices vacaciones de verano!

On May 13th, in OMA, Kindergarten had a guest from the Children’s Museum who read a book, taught them about murals, and worked with them to create their own desert mural. These young artists let their creativity shine! 🎨

El 13 de mayo, en OMA, el grupo de kínder recibió la visita de un invitado del Museo de los Niños, quien les leyó un libro, les enseñó sobre los murales y trabajó con ellos para crear su propio mural del desierto. ¡Estos jóvenes artistas dejaron brillar su creatividad! 🎨

Celebración de incentivo de fin de año para estos alumnos de tercer grado. Estos chicos —respetuosos, responsables, seguros y amables— recibían una canica cada día que cumplían con las reglas de Bloom. ¡Lograron llenar su frasco de canicas en muy poco tiempo! Esto significó que ganaron un día deportivo de fin de año junto a su maestra, la Srta. Chávez. El día deportivo incluyó aprender a jugar fútbol y participar en juegos de interior, tales como skeeball, Conecta 4, lanzamiento de aros y más. Después de toda la diversión y los juegos, disfrutaron refrigerios proporcionados por sus familias, tales como papitas con guacamole, fruta fresca, Gatorade, paletas heladas y más.

3rd grade Dual Language end of the year incentive celebration. These respectful, responsible, safe and kind third graders received a marble each day they followed the Bloom rules. They were able to fill up their marble jar in no time! This meant that they won an end of the year sports day with their teacher, Srta. Chávez. Sports day included learning how to play soccer, playing indoor games such as skeeball, connect four, ring toss and more. After all the fun and games they enjoyed snacks provided by their families such as chips and guacamoles, fresh fruit, Gatorade, otter pops and more!

Our 2nd grade students brought learning to life by creating their own food trucks! 🌮🍔🍕 They applied their math skills with currency while connecting concepts from our Buyers and Sellers unit. From designing trucks and menus to working as cashiers and servers, everyone had a role in the fun! 💵✨ Great job Miss. Cota Robles, Mrs. D, Mr. Flores and families for making this day happen.

¡Nuestros alumnos de segundo grado dieron vida al aprendizaje al crear sus propios carretas de comida! 🌮🍔🍕 Aplicaron sus habilidades matemáticas utilizando dinero, a la vez que conectaban conceptos de nuestra unidad sobre «Compradores y vendedores». Desde el diseño de los camiones y los menús hasta el trabajo como cajeros y meseros, ¡todos participaron en esta divertida experiencia! 💵✨ ¡Excelente trabajo, Srta. Cota Robles, Sra. D, Sr. Flores y familias, por hacer posible este día!

Every year, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders celebrate the end of state testing with Water Day! We are so proud of all their hard work and the effort they put into doing their best on their tests. 💦🧢😎🏖️

¡Cada año, nuestros alumnos de 3.º, 4.º y 5.º grado celebran el fin de los exámenes estatales con el Día del Agua! Estamos muy orgullosos de todo su arduo trabajo y del esfuerzo que pusieron para dar lo mejor de sí en sus exámenes. 💦🧢😎🏖️

These 2nd graders integrated a story with their inspirational dance moves. Shout out to their dance teacher, Kathleen Boggs, who travels to Bloom just to teach these awesome kids! 💃🕺🎶

1st grade musical theatre performance was absolutely ADORABLE. 👯🎵👯‍♀️ Special shout out to the musical theater teachers who helped these kiddos shine bright for their performance. 🐥🐑🐖🐦‍⬛🐶

Bloom students are so lucky and gracious to be able to learn more than reading and math in school. These 4th and 5th graders, with the help of their music teachers, were able to successfully and beautifully perform a new instrument during their band and orchestra performance on May 7th. Way to go 4th and 5th grade! 🎼🪈🎺🥁🎻

Los estudiantes de Bloom son muy afortunados y agradecidos por tener la oportunidad de aprender en la escuela más que lectura y matemáticas.
