Indigenous Teacher Education Program | University of Arizona The cohort will graduate with a teaching certificate in Elementary Education (K-8) in spring 2019.

The Indigenous Teacher Education Program (ITEP) is housed within the University of Arizona College of Education's Department of Teaching, Learning and Sociocultural Studies (TLSS). ITEP is designed to address the pressing need to increase the number of Indigenous teachers serving Indigenous students, schools, and communities by supporting a cohort of Indigenous preservice teachers in the Elementar
