Fall is coming, and the Bees are back! The Tucson Girls Chorus Bumblebee Singers is a mighty group of musicians in kindergarten and 1st grade, and their curriculum emphasizes play and creativity, a diversity of musical repertoire, and building positive social connections for these young singers.

Calling all future Ladybugs! It's almost time to sing– the Tucson Girls Chorus Ladybugs Choir is for any 2nd or 3rd grader who is ready to be heard! The Ladybugs focus on reading and writing music, discovering all the amazing and healthy ways to use their voices, and of course having fun with new friends!

Congratulations to our Nicky on their participation and performance with VOICES21C at the International Society for Music Education World Conference in Montreal! 🎉 Your dedication and contribution to music education on the global stage make us so so so proud!

This season, we are saying a temporary farewell to our Dr. Molina, as she takes a well-deserved and pre-planned sabbatical. During that time, she will serve as Interim Director of Choral Activities at the University of Arizona School of Music! Lucky students! We are so, so proud of her.

In the meantime, TGC and our powerful girls will remain in steady and passionate hands:

Longtime team member and current Director of Artistic Operations Jess Edelbrock will serve as Interim Artistic Director, to lead alongside Director of Development & Business Manager Brittany Battle. Our wonderful Nicky Manlove will conduct TGC’s Advanced Choir this fall.

Joining the Tucson Girls Chorus is easy! New singers are invited to complete a low stress one-on-one placement with a TGC conductor to determine which ensemble is the best fit. No previous singing experience is required! Singers have the option of attending one free rehearsal to find out how much they will love being part of the TGC!

Announcing a new partnership that will bring choral festivals to students of all ages across Southern Arizona. The Tucson Girls Chorus and Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus are partnering to expand access to festival experiences for Southern Arizona's young singers. Teachers– contact us about bringing your students to one or more of our upcoming festivals!
