It is with profound sadness we share the unexpected passing our Brother – Alex Rayton. A scholar, an athlete, a Brother – a friend.

This amazing young man touched so many lives – his family, his Fraternity, his team mates and coaches with University of Arizona Rugby, friends near and far. His was light to soon gone out.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and keep them in our prayers.

Our Chapter is honored to have won the 2017/2018 USO Operation Red Award for our GI Theta Chi philanthropy event. We take great pride in extending an assisting hand to others in need, and we readily look forward to our GI Theta Chi event in November. We hope to surpass what our Chapter raised last year as we continue to give back to those that served our Country.

Congratulations to the 2017/2018 USO Award winners, Beta Iota/Arizona and Iota Tau/Northern Kentucky! https://bit.ly/2Ijr6Oj

The story of former Chapter President Noah Goldstein.
"When i first stepped foot onto my respective university’s campus, I was directionless. I did not know how to adapt to growing up or how to carve out the best path for my own development.

changed my entire perspective immediately as soon as I walked into the house during rush. The way every brother bonded and interacted with not just each other but to me, a stranger, was something to behold. The fraternity welcomed me in as one of their own brothers and allowed me to surround myself with similar people all driven for future success. I can never repay the Fraternity enough for helping me shape my life by showing me how to be my best self."

Today we focus on how Fraternity life around the world has positively impacted thousands. Here is a post from the Pledge Class President of the Nu Class, Collin Taylor : " has given me the opportunity to recognize and build on my skills as a leader, decision maker and someone who is there for others. I’ve had countless experiences, some incredibly fun and some extremely difficult, that have and will continue to shape me as an individual. I’ve made relationships based off the personal values that I share with my brothers and the consistent expectation of excellence drives me to work daily at becoming the man I want to be, resolute. I’m only a little over a year into this experience but I’m certain I made the right choice going Greek, and even more so being a Theta Chi."

At the 162nd Anniversary Convention of Theta Chi the Beta Iota Chapter (University of Arizona) was awarded the Operation Military Red Trophy for raising the most money to assist the USO (out of 161 chapters across the country).

In 2013, Theta Chi Fraternity became a partner of the USO (United Service Organizations). The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country, throughout their service to the nation. Since then, Theta Chi chapters across North America have been fundraising and volunteering service hours in support of the USO.

Please join me in congratulating these gentlemen in their outstanding philanthropic endeavours - and their adherence to the motto of Theta Chi - The Assisting Hand. Well done!
