Do you plan on chaperoning field trips, helping in the classroom, or volunteering for school events? Please take some time to fill out a TUSD volunteer application! If you applied last year or a previous year, you must fill out a new form, as old applications do not roll over. Check the guidelines to see if you will need to be fingerprinted. Thank you for volunteering with your TUSD schools!

New policy/Law for school food/snacks! We are required by law to comply with the new healthy initiative for all students' and staff's well-being! This pertains mostly to food sold or donated to classrooms and TUSD food services. This will also include birthday celebrations for your kiddos in the classroom! Please feel free to discuss with your children and teachers other ways to celebrate your students at school in a way that is fun, safe, and healthy for everyone!

Greetings Tolson families,
I hope you and your family are having a great summer. As we approach our 26-27 school year start date of Thursday, August 6, I'd like to welcome our new and returning parents to the Tolson family. Please carefully read the information below to ensure a smooth start to our school year.

• Thursday 8/6: First day for students. Please make sure your child and their teacher know how they are getting home during the first few weeks of school.
• Make sure the office AND your teacher have your correct phone number! It is your responsibility to ensure correct contact info in ParentVue.
• Schedule: Students are allowed on campus starting at 7:30...Bell rings at 8:25. Instructional hours are from 8:30-2:40 M, T, Th, F, and 8:30-1:40 each Wednesday.

• Please refrain from bringing personal playground items such as soccer balls, etc. Tolson is not responsible for lost or stolen balls.
• Please do not send students to school with large bags of chips. This is not considered lunch. Also, because of allergies, it is best not to share with friends.
