LWA members volunteered at Sister Jose Women’s Center last Friday! Volunteers helped cook and serve tacos to women here in Tucson. We always appreciate opportunities to volunteer with community groups that support the people of Tucson!

Join HLS and LWA for our supply drive, happening Jan. 20-30! Community Court helps to connect community members with needed social services, and aids individuals charged with eligible misdemeanors in navigating their pending cases. Bear down and give back!

We extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees who joined us for this year’s LWA Speakeasy. Thank you for making this event a resounding success. We look forward to welcoming you back for another year of partnership and opportunity at next year’s gathering.

LWA, Pride Law, HLS, ELS, ILSA, BLS, ACS, AALDF, and SBA are hosting a food drive for canned goods to go to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. There will be collection boxes in the Law School lobby from November 10th through November 21st. Please consider donating unexpired canned goods! The most needed items currently include: peanut butter, oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, canned tomato products, canned tuna and chicken, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned fruit, rice, pasta, beans, and packaged nuts & seeds.
