Do you have a student entering 7th or 8th grade in Fall 2026 who is interested in science, medicine and helping others?
Camp Scrubs is now accepting applications for Summer 2026!
This hands-on, week-long camp gives students a real look inside the world of healthcare. Campers will explore patient care, meet medical professionals, and experience what it’s like to work in a hospital.
Campers will get to experience:
• Mock Operating Room experience
• Lab & Pharmacy tours
• Shadowing nurses in patient care units
• K-9 Security dog demonstration
• Time at the UA ASTEC lab
• Infection Prevention training
• Meeting doctors and other members of the clinical care team
• Organ Procurement & Artificial Heart team presentations
• Trauma Day, including a Stop the Bleed course and Banner Air helicopter tour
Camp Dates: June 8–12, 2026
Times: Mon–Thu: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Fri: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Banner – University Medical Center Tucson; 1624 N Campbell Ave, Tucson, AZ
Cost: $400 (scholarships available)
Application Window: March 1 – March 20, 2026
Applicants must submit a short video (up to 2 minutes) answering: "Why do you want to be part of Camp Scrubs?"
