A truly worthy cause!
We have an account set up at Wells Fargo bank under
the name of "Winslow Masonic Lodge", if anyone wants to help us
out. It would sure be appreciated.
Also nice if we could get that information to the
Grand Lodge web site or Facebook.
Thanks again,

Marion McDaniel Lodge 56 will again participate in the BIKES FOR BOOKS PROGRAM this Friday, October 10, 2014.
The following is the press release from KOLD-TV Tucson:
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Thanks to a generous donation from a local Masonic lodge, students from the Amphitheater Public School District will have a chance to win a new bike.
According to a recent release from the Amphi Public School District, the Marion McDaniel Masonic Lodge 56 will be making a special delivery of the bikes to all 13 of the Amphi district's elementary schools on Friday, October 10.
Each school will receive two brand new bicycles, as part of the Masonic Fraternity's Bikes for Books program.
"We try to have the bicycles available to the schools in the fall so they can be displayed and create excitement for the reading program," said Henry Spomer, Lodge 56 Public School Program Chairman.
The elementary schools will each decide how the bikes will be awarded, hopefully encouraging the students to read more.
This has been a long standing tradition for the Fraternity, supporting both public education and providing to school based programs at no cost to the schools.
