Get those Coyote Howls ready! Our school tiendita will be open tomorrow morning.

🗓️ When: Wednesday, September 23rd
⏰ Time: 7:45 AM – 8:20 AM
📍 Where: School Cafeteria
💡 Family Tip: Help your child feel confident and successful by stapling their Coyote Howls into groups of 10! This helps them count their "money" quickly and easily while shopping.

👧👦 Kindergarten Families: Parents of Kindergarten students are strongly encouraged to join and help their little ones shop at our store!

We are accepting coffee goodies in the front office between now and Friday, September 25th.

Last Friday, our U of A Garden Interns visited our school to help us get our school garden ready for planting! 🪴

A special thank you to Mr. David and Ms. Minnie for working with our classes and teaching our students about weeding, preparing planting beds, and so much more!

We also want to give a huge thank you to our amazing teachers who brought their classes out to the garden and helped prepare the garden area for plants. Your support makes these hands-on learning experiences possible! 💚

🌮🎉 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Kinder! 🎉🌮

Our Kindergarten students in Dual Language kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month yesterday with a tasty chips and salsa snack! 🥳 They also have been busy putting their creativity to work by making colorful piñatas in the classroom. 🎨🪅

We love seeing our students learn about and celebrate Hispanic culture through hands-on experiences, delicious traditions, and creative activities!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Ask your child: What did you think about the salsa? 🌶️ Or what was your favorite part about making your piñata? 🪅

Today, we kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with a special guest visit! María C. Federico, Director of Mexican American Studies, joined Ms. Gomez’s class for a wonderful Read Aloud of My Nana’s Remedies / Los remedios de mi Nana.
The students loved hearing the story, and to make it even more memorable, everyone got to sample a warm cup of rosemary tea—which, as the book shares, is a traditional remedy to help with digestion!
It was a fantastic, flavorful start to our celebrations. Ask your child about the story and what they thought of the tea today!
