Mission View Elementary School

One of our Mission View traditions during the first 2 days of school is to partner a 5th grader with a Kindergarten student. The 5th grade students teach the Kinders the lunch and recess routines.
This helps our Kindergarten students feel successful with a buddy to help them throughout linch and recess. We are proud of the hard work our 5th grade students did today to support their Kinder buddy.

Our first day of school was successful. Our students practiced the routines and procedures in the classrooms already with success.

We are so thankful for the upgrades done over our summer break! We have new flooring in some of our classrooms, updated HVAC system and so much more.
A special thank you to our custodians who were able to clean up our school and get it ready in 6 days! Mr. Rod and Ms. Ana, along with custodians from Ochoa, worked fast and effectively to make sure our school was ready in time for teachers to set up their classrooms.
