Garden-grown dill turned into homemade pickles today—and the kids were ALL in for this tasty experiment. Hands-on learning, curiosity, and a whole lot of crunchy fun—this is what growing together looks like at Climbing Tree!

Happy 100th Day of School! 💯
On Tuesday, we celebrated growing 100 days smarter at Climbing Tree with joyful games, hands-on activities, and 100 smiles! From counting and creating to laughing and learning together, our students showed just how much they’ve grown in 100 amazing days of school. We’re so proud of our learners!

Our Pre-K Mountain Lions are writers! We enjoy writing by going at each child’s individual level while also challenging them to do their best work. We are excited in their ability to write and are encouraging them to take pride in their work!

We use the philosophy of “Kid Writing” as our source. Some children just use letters they are familiar with, and some are sounding out letters. We work on each child's level to make literacy fun!

🦆💛 Happy National Rubber Duck Day! 💛🦆

Today our programs were full of quacks, creativity, and curiosity as we celebrated Rubber Duck Day the S.T.E.A.M. way! Our students practiced counting and sorting, worked together to build and problem-solve, and even invented their very own game—Tic-Tac-Duck!

We also turned up the joy with some favorite Sesame Street classics, singing along to “Rubber Duckie, You’re the One” and “Put Down the Duckie If You Want to Play the Saxophone.” Music, movement, and laughter filled the playground as learning came to life. 🎶🦆

At Climbing Tree, we believe meaningful learning grows from play, imagination, and shared experiences—and today was a perfect example of how even a little yellow duck can inspire big thinking and big smiles.

❄️Arctic adventures at Climbing Tree! ❄️
Our Kindergarten and Preschool classes teamed up to explore the chilly, magical world of the Arctic—and learning has never been cooler!

The children built their very own “snow structures” using shaving cream (yes… it was as fun as it sounds!) and learned all about the glowing lights in the sky known as auroras.

💡 Fun question: Do you know the names of the auroras at the North and South Poles?
👉 The Northern Lights are called Aurora Borealis and the Southern Lights are Aurora Australis—and yes, our children know this now!

Play, curiosity, teamwork, and a little bit of wonder—just another magical day at Climbing Tree.

Our classrooms have been filled with warmth and connection as we explore winter traditions. The children have been learning how people around the world come together during the darker days of winter—through kindness, shared traditions, and community. At Climbing Tree, this message goes far beyond the holidays. Community is something we nurture every single day.
